The Cullen Lakes Association is a non-profit organization.  Membership is open to anyone wishing to support our organization through participation and $15 annual dues, payable in January or when first joining.  Owning property on the Chain of Lakes is not a prerequisite for membership.

Through the efforts of our volunteers, our association takes weekly Secchi disk readings of the three Cullen Lakes, conducts water quality testing, places and maintains loon nesting platforms, performs "Adopt-a-Highway" median and shoulder area cleanup on Highway 371 near Nisswa, compiles, edits and produces a quarterly newsletter for distribution to members, works with area Lake management organizations, maintains a world wide web presence through it's web site and monitors and reacts when appropriate to local conditions which pose a threat to the quality of the Cullen chain of lakes.

As of  June 14, 2008 we had 232 members  Of those, 14 are complimentary memberships and 15 are Associate members.

If you have not yet mailed your dues for 2008, please send your payment of $15 to Cullen Lakes Association, P.O. Box 466, Nisswa, MN  55468.

Our members continue to show support for the Association’s  activities by sending a tax-deductible contribution with their dues payment.

Membership in the Association is not limited to property owners.  If you or your family members would like to receive CLA newsletters and other mailings but are not currently the owner of a Cullen Lakes shoreland property, you can join as an Associate member with the same benefits as a member who is a property owner.

You can reach me by mail, P.O. Box 466, Nisswa, MN 56468 or by e-mail, member@cullenlakes.org.

Mailing List Updating
Your help is needed to make certain that all shoreland property owners are receiving the Association's newsletter and other mailings.  If your property is owned by more than one family and the other owners are not currently receiving mailings, please provide me with their names and addresses so our mailing list can be complete.  Send the information to my attention at P.O. Box 466, Nisswa, MN 56468 .  Thank you for helping.

With the implementation of the Enhanced 911 system in Crow Wing County, many of you will have a change of address for your lake residence.  If you use your lake address as your mailing address, please write  me at with the change or use one of the e-mail links on this web site.
Thanks!

CLA Members, please let us know your e-mail address HERE  and please include your name and which lake you are located on.  We are compiling an e-mail address book of all members who are "connected".  In the future, we might consider e-mailing you the Newsletter which will help us keep our operating costs down.  That means more time and money for improving our lake quality and less time licking stamps.
We LOVE Feedback from our members.
Please e-mail us with your comments on this web site. We'd like to know what you LIKED and what you DIDN'T CARE FOR in the material and page content here.  We also want to know about new content and information you'd like to see in this web site.
