Question #5: My friend across the bay from our cabin fishes the Cullen Chain a lot. He almost always returns home with a boat load of fish, most of which he fillets and cooks. One thing that bothers me though, is his fish catching and cleaning habits. I've seen him many times using three or four fishing poles, some with several lures attached at different levels on the line. I don't want to be nosy, but when I discussed this with him, he told me he does it that way to scare off the perch and only catch bullheads and "dog fish". Another thing is the method he uses to dispose of fish entrails after he cleans them. I've seen him return to the lake and dump the fish cleaning waste right into the water. Other times, he buries the waste behind his cabin and the mound there is beginning to resemble the great pyramid. The smell from his property is really getting bad. What would you suggest I do about all of this?
